Rev. Enoch Immanuel A. Agbozo
Founder and leader of Enoch Missions, Ghana
Rev. Enoch Immanuel A. Agbozo (popularly known as Brother) is a servant of God commissioned as an Apostle-Prophet by Jesus Christ and God the Father to the Church and nations of the world. He is a voice of God in human and world affairs in the end times.
His commission is to blow the trumpet and proclaim the Gospel of the Kingdom of God, to establish Christ's Government and Kingdom in the nations, heralding and preparing the way for the Second Coming of Jesus Christ.
Bro. Enoch Agbozo is a Preacher and Teacher, Writer, Conference Speaker, and Defender of the Christian Faith. He has travelled extensively as a missionary in Africa, the USA, the Caribbean, and Europe with the total Gospel of Christ. He has a burden for revival of truth in the Church, the redemption of nations, and the establishment of the Kingdom of Christ as a social reality in the affairs of peoples and nations.
Pre-Ministry Years
Prior to entering full-time ministry in 1977, he worked as an economist and investment executive. A graduate of the University of Ghana, Legon, Bro. Enoch worked with the UAC (United Africa Company) and Shell Company. He progressed through various ranks in the public services of Ghana and eventually became the Head of the Investment Promotion and Inspection Divisions of the Capital Investments Board (now Ghana Investment Promotion Centre).
In Ministry
He is the founder of the Ghana Evangelical Society (GES), an evangelistic movement which has been a major catalyst for revival and church unity in Ghana. Through the vehicle of GES, Bro. Enoch has been widely acknowledged as the father of Charismatism in Ghana on two main grounds:
- The impact of the mission of GES on the Christian faith, worship, and practice in the Church body.
- The enlistment, discipling, equipping, raising, and sending forth of hundreds of ministers and Gospel workers into ministry across the country.
Impact and Legacy
Many describe Bro. Enoch as the man behind the revival, the upsurge in evangelism, church planting, and Pentecostalism in the 70s through to the 90s. Others describe him as "The Weeping Prophet" and "The Voice crying in the wilderness." His enduring work in evangelism, revival of the apostolic faith, church building, and kingdom building has led to the raising up of several Christian leaders in the Church, marketplace, and public life. To the glory of God, Bro. Enoch has had an undisputed, vast, and significant impact on the Church in Ghana and Africa, and we at Enoch Missions are excited to celebrate his life and ministry.
